Speech Development
Speech development includes the review of transcripts, outlines, and recorded portions of the speech to help refine refine the main points and stories and organize all the elements for maximum impact. Changes in language, format, and flow will be covered. Emphasis will be placed on creating a message that engages listeners, educates, motivates, inspires, and leaves the audience with something to take away.
Presentation Style
Audiences are affected by what they hear and what they see. A speaker’s appearance, presentation style, and distracting habits all affect the listeners’ ability to absorb what they are learning. Presentation style work will take into account the speaker’s personality and personal style, but changes may include the removal of speaking props, such as a podium and notes, wardrobe changes, and coaching on the correction of distracting non-verbal habits. Emphasis will be placed on appropriate movement and appearance for the nature of the presentation. Variations in the “style” will be discussed in order to accommodate for changing audiences and speaking venues.
Promotional Material Refinement
Photos, one-sheet brochures, and other necessary materials will be addressed in order to heighten the “attractiveness” of a speaker to the bureaus which will be receiving them upon the commencement of a Great Speakers Management campaign (please see the Management Services we offer and the terms thereof). Photos should be recent, one-sheets must be up to date, and audio/visual requirements must be compatible with current technology. Emphasis will be placed on quality, eye-catching results.
Video Assistance
Once video is made of the presentation either in its entirety or in acceptable clips, a 12-15 minute demo video should be created using quality video of the best portions of the presentation. It is the speaker’s responsibility to secure quality footage of solid performances, but we will aid in the compilation of a demo video using those materials that are made available to us by selecting appropriate clips, and coaching for the success of the creative process. Emphasis will be placed on creating a video that truly represents the speaker, and the impact of his/her presentation.

Please note: For any materials that require additional graphic art, duplication, or other services not in our employ, there may be an additional charge, but not without the speaker’s full understanding and consent.
